IEEE Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation Conference (IEEE MAPCON 2025) will be held at Lulu International Convention Centre, Grand Hyatt Bolgatty, Kochi (India) from December 14 – 18, 2025. This is the fourth edition of the MAPCON franchise, a joint flagship conference of the IEEE MTT and IEEE AP societies in India, and it will be held in person. MAPCON 2025 will offer a comprehensive international platform for the symbiotic sharing of cutting-edge research and technologies in the fields of electromagnetics, microwave engineering, and antenna and propagation. The event will bring together leading researchers, engineers, technocrats, and practitioners from around the world to share their knowledge and expertise.
The first edition of MAPCON was organized in Bangalore in 2022 and was a grand success with 800+ delegates participating from various government, private and academic organizations of various countries. The conference grew to 900+ delegates in 2023 in Ahmedabad with more than 60 industry sponsors and further grew to host of 1200+ attendees in 2025 at HICC, Hyderabad. MAPCON 2025 is all set to host a diverse technical conglomeration with an estimated worldwide participation of 1500+ delegates, and will include a wide range of technical sessions in different tracks, keynote sessions, plenary sessions, invited talks, workshops, tutorials, special sessions, student design competitions, mentor-mentee programme, industry sessions, exhibits, professional meetings, tours and networking events. It will also hold Ph.D. initiative activities, Young Professional (YP) activities, Women-in Engineering (WiE) events, AP-S and MTT-S Jt. Chapter Chair meetings, SIGHT workshops, and start-up initiatives.
This five-day conference will convene participants from across multiple regions, including the USA, Europe, the UK, Australia, the Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, in addition to representatives from esteemed Indian research organizations such as ISRO, DRDO, BARC, and DAE, as well as leading academic institutions, startups, industries, and students.
