The Raj Mittra Foundation (RMF) was formed by Indian-born Ph.D. and postdoctoral researchers of Prof Raj Mittra with a mission to encourage electromagnetics education and research, particularly computational electromagnetics, with an emphasis on providing opportunities for Ph.D. students of the future.
In honor of Prof. Raj Mittra, Raj Mittra Foundation announces an all-inclusive award, namely Raj Mittra Grant in India (RMGI), for Ph.D. students studying in India.
The RMGI award concept was introduced during APS Symposium, July 8-13, 2018, in Boston, USA, in the presence of Prof. Raj Mittra. The Raj Mittra Travel Grant of APS is not related to this in any way, except that we are inspired by it.
For the RMGI awards, the RMF is the sole authority to decide the grant value and selection criteria.
