  • Papers that are not presented at the conference (i.e. no-show papers) will be excluded from IEEE Xplore (they will be removed from the proceedings before the proceedings are submitted to IEEE Xplore).

Address all inquiries concerning papers, the technical program, and copyright forms, to edashelp.mapcon@gmail.com

Accepted Paper Revision

Accepted papers may incorporate minor revisions to address specific reviewer concerns. Please avoid adding new references unless they are explicitly suggested by the reviewers. Authors are advised to carefully review the similarity-related comments (if any) and revise their papers accordingly.

Kindly note that if the camera-ready submission is flagged by EDAS with a similarity rating score above 30%, the paper may still be subject to rejection.

Camera-Ready Paper Submission Guidelines

  • For an accepted paper to be listed in the technical program, one of the authors of the paper must be registered.
  • Authors may only register against a maximum of 2 papers. If an author has received acceptance for more than 2 papers it is recommended that a co-author registers against those papers to limit the number of presentations required by the same author. Each author/co-author must register separately.
  • Each document that you submit should be formatted exactly as indicated in the corresponding template.
  • A signed (electronically) IEEE copyright form must accompany all camera-ready submissions. Papers submitted without copyright forms will be rejected. Instructions for electronically signing and submitting copyright forms can be found under “Steps for Submission” below.

Papers that are not presented at the conference (i.e. no-show papers) will be excluded from IEEE Xplore (they will be removed from the proceedings before the proceedings are submitted to IEEE Xplore).

I. Requirements

Camera-Ready papers MUST be 3-4 pages in length.

  • Must be a minimum of 3 pages and maximum of 4 pages in length, including text, references, and figures.
  • The content of the 3-4 page paper should substantially fill up the pages.
  • Must be in IEEE 2-column format.
  • Please do not include page numbers on your submitted documents.
  • Papers presented in the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

II. Templates for Camera-Ready Submissions

  • An IEEE conference paper template for Microsoft Word is available for download here.
  • An IEEE conference paper template for LaTeX is available for download here. Be sure to use the template’s conference mode and the A4 paper size.
  • When working in Overleaf, the template is available here.

III. Steps for Submission:

  1. Manuscript Preparation:
    • Create your Camera-Ready manuscript using the templates above.
    • Ensure your document adheres to the conference’s specific page limits and formatting requirements.
    • Do not insert any footers or headers. Please delete copyright notice “XXX-X-XXXX-XXXX-X/XX/$XX.00 ©20XX IEEE” from the footer of IEEE paper template.
    • Proofread your manuscript.
    • Create a IEEE Xplore Compliant PDF version of your manuscript using PDF Xpress (see steps below)
  2. Use IEEE PDF eXpress:
    • Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress website
    • Create a new account if you are a first-time user or log in with your existing credentials.
      See guidelines (https://ieee-pdf-express.org/External/UsingIEEEPDFeXpress)
    • You will need to enter the Conference ID: 65020X
    • Choose to either upload a PDF for checking or upload your source file(s) for conversion.
    • If you upload source files (like .doc), PDF eXpress will convert them into an Xplore-compatible PDF.
    • You will receive an email with either the compliant PDF or a PDF Check report detailing any incompatibilities, such as missing fonts.
    • Open the generated PDF to ensure it views and prints as you intended.
  3. Paper Submission on EDAS:
    • You can then submit this final PDF to MAPCON 2025 submission portal in EDAS.
    • Log in with your EDAS account and select your accepted paper link.
    • Click the icon (as shown below) under ‘Final manuscript or camera-ready manuscript’.
    • Your submitted PDF file and registered EDAS account of a paper must list the same author(s), title and abstract. Papers where the PDF and EDAS account do not match the author(s), title, and/or abstract will be removed by the Technical Program Committee.

  4. IEEE Copyright Form:
    • After uploading your paper, you will be directed to the IEEE Electronic Copyright system, which will walk you through electronically signing the appropriate IEEE copyright form.
    • An E-mail is immediately sent to the designated contact authors to provide feedback on a successful submission.
    • Authors must first upload or fill out the IEEE copyright form.
    • Click ‘IEEE Copyright Submission’ button and proceed as directed.
