Call for Workshop Proposals

IEEE MAPCON 2025 invites proposals for half-day (3-4 hours) workshops to be held in conjunction with the main conference. The workshops will take place on December 14, 2025.

Workshops at MAPCON aim to provide a platform for in-depth discussions on emerging and interdisciplinary topics that are not adequately covered in the main conference. These workshops should encourage collaboration, active interaction, and knowledge exchange between academia, industry, and research communities.

Workshops should emphasize emerging trends, novel applications, or niche areas in the broad domains of:

• Microwave Theory and Techniques
• Antennas and Propagation
• RF and Millimeter-Wave Systems
• Terahertz and Beyond
• Quantum Microwave Engineering
• 5G/6G, IoT, Biomedical Applications
• Artificial Intelligence for RF & Microwave
• Sustainable and Green Microwave Technologies
• Industry Sponsored Workshops (EDA tools, measurements, Demos, etc.)
• Measurement techniques

Special focus will be given to:

• Creating unique platforms for industry to engage with key product stakeholders
• Ensuring targeted reach with 60–100 participants expected per workshop
• Very low registration fees to encourage participation from startups and early-career researchers
• Strengthening industry–academia–lab networks
